Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Review

Hello!
Sorry I'm uploading late, I've just been really busy, I hope you all understand!
Today I'm going to be talking a product I got given when I went to Beautycon London (which was amazing by the way) which is called Cleanse and Polish. The product is by a company called Liz Earle, who do LOADS of different skincare products. You can find them online at www.lizearle.com or in some Boots. I think they also have there own stores or pop up stands in places.
The Cleanse and Polish is a rich, concentrated cream that gently removes daily grime and make-up, even stubborn mascara, to leave skin clear, smooth and exceptionally clean. Used with the pure muslin cloth it lifts away dead skin cells, revealing radiant skin.
Basically all you do is massage the product into dry skin, over your eyes, face and neck to purify, soften and stimulate the circulation. You then use the pure muslin cloth, rinse it in hand hot water and wring out before gently polishing off the cream.
This has to be one of my favourite skin care products EVER. It's so amazing at removing all of my makeup in one go. I literally don't have to use anything after to take it off because it's all gone. The product leaves my skin unbelievably soft, and my skin is becoming clearer because it doesn't have any nasty grime left to get into my pores. For the price of the product it's amazing, and when I run out I will 100% be buying more.
I don't really have any negatives about the product, the packaging is really simple, cute and clean, and it's perfect for on the go because it takes really minimal effort. Sometimes, on days where my skin is more sensitive, I do find the pure muslin cloth can be a little rough on my skin. However, you don't have to use their cloth, and could use something different instead.
I would love to know if you've ever tried any Liz Earle products, and have any you really recommend. Or if you really want to try any!

Summer OOTD

Hello everyone. Firstly, I would like to apologise for uploading late! I just completely forgot even though I told Elise what i was going to post! I'm so stupid. Anyway, today i am going to be doing a Summer OOTD 2015, so i hope you like it :)

Top - I am wearing a white top, with lace sleeves and a lace bottom (but i tucked it in). Unfortunately, i do not know where this from as my friend gave it too me as a birthday present, so I'm sorry about that.

Skirt - I am wearing a baby blue skater skirt which i believe is from Newlook for £9.99. I thought this was really cute and perfect for the hot weather!

Shoes - For shoes i wore a pair of white ballet pumps with a bow on the end. I find that these shoes are ideal for summer as i don't like wearing sandals or flip flops as i find they give me blisters on my toes? Don't know whether it's just me? I bought these from Newlook and these were also £9.99.

Jacket - In this photo i'm not actually wearing a jacket, however incase it does get chilly at one point of the day i will usually wear a kimono that is not to thick but not to thin, but one that is just right to give me some warmth if it does turn cold. The kimono that i wore with this outfit is again from Newlook and it is a white kimono with floral detailing on it. I know that is sounds like it would not match my top and skirt and it may look a little busy but actually, it matched them very well. I do not know what this kimono is called on the Newlook website but it was £11.99.

Thankyou for reading my blog post, I am so sorry it was late but as i said, i just completely forgot to upload it then yesterday (saturday) i went to an all day Music Festival which finished rather late so i did not get the time to upload. So sorry!

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Elise's Go To Makeup Products

Hello!
Today I thought I'd do a go-too look, because when it's like 7am or whatever, and you are running out the door, putting makeup on is such a stress. My post is going to be my top makeup products for a quick effective look, and a way to apply them fast but still look decent.
Too start off with I would apply a concealer. Normally if I had time I would use a foundation, however if you are in a rush, and concealer can give you a little bit of quick coverage. Personally at the moment I've been using the Rimmel Wake Me Up in the colour Ivory which I think is the lightest one? However I have heard amazing things about the Collection Lasting Concealer so I might try that next!
Okay so I would now chose a powder. Simply because it stops all the shine, and makes you quick makeup look much more effective. I use the Maybelline translucent pressed powder, which is really easy to apply. If you don't want to use powder, you can buy like shine pads, which are designed to wipe away the excess oil and keep your skin looking matte. Although I've never tried these, I've heard good things, so they are going in my list of products to buy!
Now I do like the look of bronzer (even though I can't do it) However if you are in a rus, applying bronzer, blusher and highlighter will take forever. Or not, you can buy all in one products like everywhere. So many places do them, although I don't have one for my self yet, I borrowed my mother's MUA one, and I thought it was amazing.
Next I'm going for a mascara, now you could do eyeliner, but unless you are a master, that will take forever! I could also say a eyeshadow, you could use quite a light shade and only do one colour. In a Revlon eyeshadow pallette I got, there is this really pretty pink that would be so cool to just pop on your eyelids. Back to mascara, it will make your eyes look so much bigger, and more defined. As well as make you probably seem as little more awake. If you're in a rush, I say skip the bottom lashes, because those are generally the hardest, and just go for one, maybe two coats on the top if you have time. My favourite is the Maybelline Rocket Volume Express (or something like that) which I find really good for length, volume and separation!
Brows may be another one, but I feel as though most people have alright eyebrows without filling them in, so going natural would be fine. However you may want to fill them in a little with a pencil, just to add more definition to your face. If you had more time this could be another step.
Finally I say lips. I wouldn't over do it with massive colours, I would stick to maybe a light lip gloss? You could also use the Maybelline Baby Lips, which they do in loads of different colours. Or a simple lip butter or care product like the Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula.

Thanks for reading. I really hoped you enjoyed the post! Obviously there are so many other things you could do, but I made this as short as possible. You could also skip parts out that you don't want to do, and that would make the look so much shorter.

Small Collective Haul

Hello everyone,

Today I am going to be sharing with you what i have bought through a period of time. This includes a couple of freebees (is that even a word?!) and a lot of items that i have bought from a variety of shops. So i'll stop doing a boring intro and get to the actual point of this post!

Primark:

So first of all I bought a white lace top with a black collar for £6. I thought this a good price for a high quality top especially as usually it would priced around £12!

Another thing I bought from Primark was a 3 way charger. So in our family car we can charge our phones however not all at once. However, in Primark they were selling a USB charger lead which has 3 different ends (An iPhone 4 charger, iPhone 5 charger and Samsung charger). I wanted to give it a try and for £2.50 i thought this was a BARGIN!

I also bought some plain black short's with a white bow. I was in need for just some plain shorts which i could wear to bed as recently i have found that it is rather hot at night! These shorts were £4 and i am happy that I bought them.

Whenever I go into Primark i always have to look at the homeware section. As my room has recently been decorated i needed a new throw for the end of my bed (I did have one but it was turquoise, so it didn't match my theme). After looking around for a while I found an extra large cream fluffy blanket with a cute lace-look-a-like detailing at the end of it. I instantly fell in love with it and threw it in my basket. This blanket was £6.

Tk Max:

So i only bought one thing from Tk Max and literally screamed in relief when i saw them. So for aggeessss i have been trying to find the 'Yes To' facial wipes. All the youtubers i watch had been using them and recommending them however never stated where they got them from! I searched everywhere for them and finally found them! I got the 'Yes To Grapefruit Facial Wipes' for £2.99 and I hope they will be as good as they look! (If you want a review on them, then comment down below!)

Waterstones:

It is very rare that I go in Waterstones as i think that it is very overpriced in there. However for ages now i have been debating whether to buy Connor Franta's book or not. I turned it down so many times however then couldn't resist and i bought it! I bought this book from Waterstones for £9.99 and i love the cover so much!

Superdrug:

Ok guys! I love Superdrug! And let's just say i bought a lot of things! But actually not as much as what i usually do. So as this is going to take forever to type, I'm gonna shut up and tell you what i got . . .

First of all i got the MUA White Nail Varnish as i really needed a new white matte finish nail polish as my Barry M one ran out and i wasn't too keen on it if i'm being perfectly honest. Also this was £1!

I then bought another MUA product (I bought a lot of MUA) I got the MUA blush in Bon Bon. It is such a light but not bright pink which gives such a small tint to your cheeks that really makes it effective. Also for £1 i thought this was amazing.

I was in need for some new lipsticks and so i bought two new MUA lipsticks. I've never had MUA lipsticks before however their colours are amazing. I got a lighter colour in Bare 14 and a darker shade in Shade 7. Out of the two i like Shade 7 the most, I use it almost every day and it gives such a nice look. Also, the packaging was amazing and these products were £1 each!

I have a lot of eyeshadow palette's and still, i bought another set of eyeshadows! However, not a palette! I got a trio set of MUA's eyeshadows in Pink Sorbet. I'm not sure whether these shades will suit me however i wanted to give them a try and this was £3.

So I am very much a skincare girl. I also do skincare every morning and evening. I needed a new toner first of all, so i got the Garnier Refreshing Toner (The Blue One) for £2.10 and I also needed a new Cleansing Lotion and so bought the Garnier Softening Cleansing Lotion for £2.10 as well. I love Garnier products and could buy all of their products and not complain about any of them as they are so good!

Benefit Freebees:

So we all love freebees right? I mean it's even better when it's Benefit freebees! So i got a free mini Roller Lash from the Elle Magazine a while ago and completely forgot about it and only recently found it in my make-up collection. I won't go into depth about this as my last post was a review on it so go and check that out!

I also got a free mini Pore-Fessional Primer. I really wanted to buy this however my friend bought one of the Benefit mini travel pack (something like that) and she gave me the mini primer as apparently she has loads of that primer and doesnt like it that much. So thankyou for that! If you would like a review on that then comment down below!

BabyLiss Freebrees:

So my auntie is a hairdresser and got given a free hair comb, 6 pack of hair rollers and a hairbrush comb (i don't know what its called :') ) Being a hairdresser, she has many of these and so handed them to me as i like to take good care of my hair and take any advice my auntie gives me. I have had Babyliss products before and loved them and so can't wait to try these products out too!

Elise's May Favourites

Hello!
Today, seeing as we are nearly at the end of the month, it's time for a MAY FAVOURITES *WOOHOO LITTLE DANCE*
It's not like a certain type of favourites, it's everything from the month. I hope you enjoy!
TV, Films and Books:
Okay so let's start of with books, this month's favourite book is A Work In Progress by Connor Franta (this could be a favourite forever to be honest) It's an AMAZING book! It contains so many valuable life lessons and inspirational paragraphs which could make anyone feel better about themselves. It's written in such an engaging and intelligent way, and it just makes me smile.
My TV and film favourites are going to be put together, I have quite a few but not much to say about them. On TV I've been loving Stalker, Bones and Forever...all on Sky 1 and they are all crime shows. It sounds a little creepy that I love crime shows, but I just think they are amazing! My film favourites are everything to deal with Melissa Mccarthy, she is my favourite actress! Tammy has to be one of my favourite ever films, it's majorly funny and just so great. I also love all Lee Evans films and tv shows, he makes me laugh so much. I'VE JUST BEEN LAUGHING SO MUCH LATELY.
Makeup and Skincare:
So in my beauty favourites this month,, I have the Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude foundation, which I think is so good. I really recommend it! It's got quite a watery base, so a little really goes a long way. It doesn't feel cakey, and gives you really natural looking, glowing skin. I've also been using my Baby Lips Peach Kiss quite a bit recently, because even though it has a little bit of colour, it looks really natural and fresh. It also smells really good:)
For skincare, once again I'm going to mention my holy grail. My Witch Skincare products. I can't fault these, I swear down on these. This is the only company I've found which agrees with my skin! I just think the Witch Hazel just like my skin. I've also been loving the Simple Micellar Cleansing Water, which is so amazing for removing my makeup and keeping my skin really clean and fresh.
Clothes:
I basically where the same clothing all the time so I never really have anything new or any specific favourites. However, I've been loving my Mean Girls jumper and just simple leggings this month with my Nike trainers. I also actually bough a Taylor Swift top from Primark which says Shake It Off on it, and I really like it.
Music:
I listen to all kinds of music, but I've had some clear favourites this month! I've been loving James Bay, I think he's amazing, but I've also loved the 2000-2010 songs this month. I've been obsessed with See You Again (Fast and Furious 7) because it's such an amazing song. However, Mcfly/ McBusted will always be my overall favourite because I just love their music so much!
Youtube:
I could literally write pages about my youtube favourites this month, there has been so many amazing videos so it's going to be hard not to write loads. As per usual I've been loving Joe Sugg because he's just amazing, and Caspar, Oli and Will. However, this month I've been loving Hannah Hart, because she just makes me smile loads. Emily Canham and Jake Boys have been another favourite, and so has Noo. I've been LOVING Hannah Renee this month though, she has to be one of my all time favourite youtubers now. She's so amazing, and her videos are always of such high quality. I can't leave without talking about my favourite The Lifestylists, who have just transferred channels and are now called Coco and Margot. You should really go watch!
Amber Bianchi is another BIG favourite, literally I'm too obsessed with her. Like how is she so amazing! Everyone needs to go watch her♡
That's it for my May favourites! I obviously had loads more I could have written but I didn't want to make the post too long. I'm sorry my post was delayed, I've just been so busy.
We also didn't post on Monday, however Tia and I our discussing our best upload options and things right now so bare with us!

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara Review

Hello everybody. So I picked up an Elle Magazine a while ago now and inside it contained a sample of the Benefit Roller Lash. This is my first ever Benefit product as i think that Benefit products are rather expensive. However, saying this, i think some of Benefit's products are worth the money however some are over priced. Anyway, everyone had been bragging about this and so i thought why not try it out and write a review.

The aim of the product is to give full volume and a curl to lashes; hence the name. The applicator is absolutely amazing and the shape has such a good curl to it, also the applicator is not too big for the eye but not to small so for me is perfect.

Despite the packaging being so so nice and having literally a perfect applicator, the question that I was wondering was does this product actually work? And the answer to that is YES! The applicator has such good grip that it grips onto your lashes and you can feel it pushing your lashes upwards giving it a superb curl. Also, i am extremely fussy when it comes to mascara's; they can't be clumpy, flaky and the applicator has to be a good looking shape for me too like it. I know, i know, I'm fussy with mascara's :') The thing that i was mostly worried about, that this product would do is turn your lashes clumpy. However, it does not! I was so happy when it didn't turn them clumpy as it made me fall in love with the mascara even more! I wore this mascara to school the other day to try it out during the day and one thing it didn't do like most mascara's do, is turn flaky causing black specs to go all around your eyes WHICH IS EXTREMELY ANNOYING.

Overall, i love this mascara and would highly recommend it! It gives such good curl, volume, colour and clump free to your lashes and makes them stand out but not in a hideous way. A tip to get free Benefit products along with other make-up brands are by getting the Elle magazine. It may only give samples however it is better than nothing, especially if a brand like Benefit Roller Lash which is around £16 is free in the Elle Magazine for half the size.

Thankyou for reading this post, i hope you have liked it.

Looking after your Lips

Hello!
Today I thought I'd talk about something everyone has, lips. Lips are obviously quite important things, and everyone should take care of them. So I'm going to share with you what I do to keep my lips moisturised and looking lovely (I hope).
I'm going to start off with the fact I think it is really important to exfoliate your lips. This may sound a little weird, but your lips get dirt and dead cells as much as anywhere else does, and gently removing that will make your lips look, and feel so much better. The majority of the time I make my own lip scrubs, you simply use honey and sugar, and you can add a bit of peppermint oil, it makes an amazin, simple scrub. However, you can buy pre-made scrubs from places such as Lush (which I've heard are very good!)
Another thing I do to exfoliate my lips is use a toothbrush. Okay, this does sounds strange but I've heard from many places that because of the bristles of the brush, it can remove dry/dead skin really easy. If you have a little bit of toothpaste on, it makes your lips really minty too.
A must to keep your lips perfect is always carry a lip balm, whether it be a homemade of a bought one. There are many recipes on the internet to make your own, or you can go buy one of the many products which are out there. I've tried so many different lip products, however I can safely say that the Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula is my favourite! It makes my lips feel AMAZING, it makes them so soft and it smells gorgeous.
I always say never neglect your lips, they are just as important as your skin. Using too much product over time damages them, and if you don't look after them properly you could be in trouble. If you have horrible lips, no matter how much lip stick or gloss you put on, they still won't look amazing. DON'T NEGLECT YOUR LIPS.

I really hope you enjoyed finding out more about caring for your lips, and if you have any top tips or suggestions you can contact us-
