Cruelty Free Spring Makeup

Hello!

Seeing as we are in spring I thought I'd share with you the everyday makeup I have been wearing, all cruelty free of course.

My skin is starting to clear up a bit, and seeing as it is spring I don't feel the need for a full coverage foundation. So I have just been mixing a bit of my MUA foundation with some moisturiser and using it as a BB cream, it's so simple and effective and still gives you a little coverage. Sometimes I use my Real Techniques Buffer Brush and sometimes I just use my fingers, all depends on how I feel.

Under my eyes I put some Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer which I find brightens my under eye and covers my bags so well. On my blemishes I put the Miss Sporty Perfect Stay concealer which covers the red areas really well. I use a damp Real Techniques Beauty Blender the majority of the time of my fingers I don't really care.

For my eyebrows I use the W7 Brow Parlour Grooming Set which is amazing, it comes with a little brush to apply the eyebrow powder (there are two shades, I use the darkest one) Then I put the wax on top with my finger and comb through them with the other little brush you get, I cannot remember what it's called!

The Collection Contour Kit is my personal favourite contour. I apply it to the hollows of my cheekbones with a flat brush and then blend it out with my Real Techniques Angled Brush. I also put some on the outer section of my forehead, down the sides of my nose to make it look smaller and on my jawline.

For blusher I use the W7 The Cheeky Trio, which is a really nice pink shade, using my Real Techniques Blusher Brush to pop it on. Then on my cheekbones with the Revolution Angled Brush goes the highlighter you get with it, I also put it down the bridge of my nose and on my cupids bow.

For my eyes I don't wear eyeshadow so I'm really sorry I can't help you out with that, search spring eye makeup looks online and I'm sure you will find some lovely ones. However I do use the W7 Lashtastic False Liquid Lashes on my eyelashes to make them look a little thicker.

My lips vary day to day, however I have been wearing the NYX Butter Gloss in Cannes, it's a beautiful sort of brown undertoned pink. I'm not the best at describing colours so I recommend you search it, but it is absolutely beautiful (UK people you can get it from Boots or Feel Unique) It may not seem like s spring colour but it's absolutely gorgeous and can be built up/you could wear different colours over the top.

There we are, my go to spring makeup look. It's perfect for everyday, and you could work it up for the evening as well if you want too.

Vegetarian/Vegan Meals

Hello!
Right so I turned vegetarian just over a month ago, I would right a post about my choices but I think I would get overly passionate. So at the end I will link so websites which explain why becoming a vegetarian/vegan is an amazing thing.
However I thought I'd share with you some simple meal ideas, everyone says that being a vegetarian/vegan is hard, but if you plan meals and ingredients, they are generally found at your local supermarket.
This is a recommendation from a girl I know on twitter (@phoebedianax) and it is Granose meat-free burger mix. Although I personally haven't yet tried it, she says they taste exactly like 'real' burgers.
For all you veggies/vegans, along with those who are trying to cut down on meat or just want something different to try. Tesco do AMAZING vegan burgers, you get four in a packet and they are massive. If you eat one in a roll it will probably fill you up because they are so big, and they cost like £1.50 tesco range in the freezer section.
As a snack, did you know that BBQ pringles are suitable for vegans as well, and for breakfast you can have coco-pops.
I personally aren't a masisve fan of all quorn, I quite like their sausages. You can have sausage, mash and vegetable gravy, literally exactly the same as before or even have a sausage sandwich. I say don't have their burgers or ham because they taste horrible, but the chicken they do tastes really nice in a sandwich.
If you go into tesco they do some lovely ready meals, I know ready meals aren't good for you but if you are in a rush they are perfect. I enjoy their vegetarian lasagnes and I even picked up a vegetarian tikka curry and pilau rice for £2, and two nann breads for 75p.
Jacket potatoes are my personal favourite meal, I could eat them every day and not get sick of them. Extremely easy to cook, and on the whole very cheap too.
The Free-From range is very good, they have some lovely dairy free products, like chocolate, I even found hummus crisps the other day which tasted like heaven, it was like 70p for a big bag.
Honestly if you take half an hour out of your day to research some meals and what you need you will find it so easy, and eventually it will just come naturally too you to pick those kinds of foods up.
You only eat meat because that's how you were brought up, the real things that happen in the meat and dairy industry are hidden away because the amount of money it makes is unbelievable.
I know not everyone can become vegetarian/vegan, for medical problems or money problems. However, everyone can try to cut down and a little change is better than none at all.
