What I Got For Christmas 2015

Hello!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas (if you don't do Christmas I hope you had a generally lovely day) and got some of what you wished for!

I thought I'd share some of my presents with you, simply as ideas of what to ask for your birthday or to buy others.

I got lots of 'pamper' products, such as a home facial set and some lovely body washes. I really love the Soap and Glory box I got, not only is the box very useful the products are amazing. Along with a Nivea box with all the essentials in it, literally the box is now my case for all my makeup which I don't use everyday.
Zoella Beauty was something I got quite a few products from as well! Although I don't mind the Tutti Frutti range, the original scent is my favourite. Blisstfull Mistfull has been in my bag since I opened it as it smells heavenly.

From Real Techniques I got the blush brush and the strippling brush, which are both amazing. As well as some money to go buy myself some new makeup. Foundation, the Revolution Golden Sugar pallette and a beauty blender are top of my list!

As for entertainment, I got a few youtuber books. Binge is currently still in the car, I intend to start reading it tomorrow. However I have started the first few pages of Girl Online On Tour, and it does look good. Joe and Caspar Hit The Road was another thing I got given, I haven't watched it yet but that is on my to do list for the next few days. We are also waiting for Blue Neighbourhood by Troye Sivan to come through, as the order kind of messed up, so my family will literally be hearing that blasted everyday.

If you want a gift to give someone, I recommend  a sweet bag. Now it sounds pretty lame I know. But I like peanut butter, like really I love the taste of it. So I got given literally a bag dedicated to different peanut butter sweets and chocolate to eat. Find something they like and base it around that, I'm sure they will appreciate it. Or lindors, they are heaven.

I did get some other bits as well, such as some boots and the softest dressing gown that has ever existed hands down. However I don't want to ramble!

Really hope you love everything you got, tweet me some of your presents! I'd love to see.

Love,

Elise xo

Winter Skincare Routine

Hello!

Yes yes, I know I posted yesterday, but I'm going to do 12 days of blogmas (please don't keep me too it) I started a day late so I have to post on Christmas day, however I'm going to try and get this done.
Now I've started trying out some new products, and for the months where it's a bit colder, I think I've found the perfect products.

I remove any makeup I wear everyday with the Nivea 2 in 1 Cleanser and Toner. Now if you wear full coverage makeup this may not work amazing for you, however I only use really minimal makeup so it removes it all perfectly. It makes my skin very clean, and soft, and just gives you that fresh feeling.

Every other day I use the Nivea Gentle Exfoliating Wash, to just unclog my pours and get rid of any nasty bits. It leaves my skin feeling soft, and you can really see the difference that using it makes.

After I've used the exfoliating wash i use my Clarins moisturiser, simply because it's a little more expensive, and i feel like using it when I have a deep facial clean. Day to day I use the Witch Hazel Moisturiser which is so amazing, it smells lovely and makes your skin feel lovely. However I'm nearly at the end of that one, so I have bought a Nivea moisturiser to see how that works (bit of a Nivea fan over here)

Using water helps too. If you are wearing no makeup, and indoors all day, occasionally washing your face with water will make it so much healthier and stop dirt getting caught up.

If you have any recommendations please let me know, I want to start using more organic products so if anyone knows any good 'recipes' I would be very grateful. Thank you for reading, see you tomorrow!

Love,

Elise xo

The Girl On The Train Review

Hello!
Right, so I don't normally do book reviews, but I've just finished this book and I'm amazed, I honestly think it is the best book I've ever read.
'To everyone else in this carriage I must look normal; I'm doing exactly what they do: commuting to work, making appointments, ticking things off lists.
Just goes to show.'
The book is written by Paula Hawkins, it is her first thriller. I'd actually never heard of this book before, but my friend had it so I asked if I could give it a read. The reviews on the book were amazing;
'Gripping, enthralling- a top notch thriller and a compulsive read' - SJ Watson
'So thrilling and tense and wildly unpredictable. I simply could not put it down. Not to be missed! - Tess Gerritsen
I completely agree. The book had me captivated from beginning to end, I hated having to put it down. My opinions of different characters changed throughout the book, and the twist and turns made it so much more interesting. The book created such a clear image of the events in my head, it felt like I was there, watching it first hand.
The way it was written was beautiful, the different perspectives from characters in the book gave the book such a great pace, and made my emotions change constantly. I couldn't guess what would happen next, the book wasn't predictable at all. I never expected the ending what so ever, I thought I had it planned out at the beginning, and to realise I was wrong amazed me, it suprised me. I love the fact it wasn't boring, and paced the same throughout. It changed paced, it was unexpected, exciting. I can't think of enough adjective words to describe how much I love this book.
As soon as this comes out in cinemas I am going yo be the first one there. I genuinely believe this is the BEST book I have ever read, and I am a fairly big reader. I honestly cannot praise Paula enough for her brilliant writing style, and amazing ideas.
I obviously didn't make this book review as long as it could be, I could go on and on about different sections of the book. However, I'm trying to keep it as spoiler free as possible. And I honestly want all of you to read the book, to begin with you may not think it's your cup of tea, but I promise you it will blow your minds!
Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed (and read the book, please)
Lots of love,
Elise xo

November Favourites (and Fails!)

Hello!

Right so I normally do my favourite posts in the same style, however I thought I'd mix it up a bit (oh, exciting I know) so I'm going to add in things that didn't work for me as well. It's all fine and dandy knowing what does work, but it's always useful knowing what doesn't.

TV and Film-

To be completely honest, I haven't watched anything new this month what so ever. The only thing I love is Geordie Shore, I've watch it for ages, and although I've never mentioned it, I love it a lot!

Makeup and Skincare-

I've been loving the whole Nivea range recently, the cleanser/toner is a personal favourite, as it picks up little bits of makeup so easily! I also bought two Miss Sporty lipsticks, which are amazing! I'm going to do a review on them so stay tuned!
I'm going to add in an extra little bit, and talk about hair products. Now curling wands have been my favourite this month, I love the curly hair look. If anyone has any nice hairspray recommendations which keep you hair light, please let me know. My fail in this department is the Bed Head Texturing Gel (this might not be right, I currently cannot find it) I hated this with a passion. I added it to my hair after curling, and afterwards it was so heavy and looked extremely greasy. This was before school, and it was that bad I had to try and wash it out with water without ruining my curls.

Music-

Music this month, honestly how good has it been. Adele, no words, just amazing. Troye Sivan, my absolute babe is outstanding and I love him and his album is so good (go buy it, please, it's amazing!) Little Mix, I'm starting to stan them now, brilliant songs. It's just been outstanding!

Youtube and Blogs-

I haven't really watched anyone new thus month. However, I have my old favourites such as Eve Bennett, she's a queen I recommend. Noo Stenning, another amazing person and amazing youtuber/blogger. Christmas is near, so I've watched like 200 hundred gift guides, and DIY presents, if your stuck youtube is the best place to go, there is so much inspiration.
Fails, Sam Pepper. I can't even get into this, it annoys me so much. I don't even want to waste anymore time on him, but I'm sure you can find rants in most places, my twitter account included.

Hoping this has been short and sweet? Maybe not so much sweet? I'm doubting whether the fails part is a good idea or not, I might stick with it for a little while.

Love you lots,

Elise xo

Favourite Autumnal Lip Colours

Hello everyone, sorry i haven't posted in so long and thank you Elise for keeping this blog up and running. Firstly, if you haven't seen our previous post which Elise wrote then please go and give it a read as it is truly amazing and based on an unfortunate event that happened a couple of days ago. Anyway, today i thought i would do a beauty related blog post; my favourite autumnal lip colours. So let's just get straight into it.

I mostly like quite dark colours as they suit me best and i also think dark colours are perfect colours for autumn and winter. My first favourite lip colour is from a No 7 Lipstick in the shade Tricky 445. This colour is a red based matt colour but at the same time has a tint of brown and a neutral colour. I really like this colour as it really makes your lips stand out but not drastically. I got this product passed down from a family member as it didn't suit them and so i do not know the price but if i find out i will leave a link at the bottom.

Another favourite which is quite similar to the No 7 one is a Revlon Lipstick. This lipstick is in the shade Cherry Blossom 028. The colour is kind of a ruby red but again, doesn't stand out drastically, just makes your lips noticeable and brightens your face in a way if that makes any sense. I love the packaging of this product and the overall look and shade. Again, this got passed down from a friend and so i do not know the price however if i find out i will link it below.

MUA have very good quality products as well as really cheap prices. I love most of their products however not all of them due to the shades i need or how much each product contains. Anyway, one of my favourite products is one of their lipsticks. This lipstick is in Shade 7. The shade is a rosy colour however depending on how much you apply it can be a dark shade. I wear this product not only in autumn but i did also wear this in summer as it can become a light pink shade as well which is what i like. Another lipstick that i would like is a shade that my sister bought. She bought a dark plum red which i did wear for halloween and if you follow me on twitter would have seen a picture. I think the lipstick is in Shade 13. MUA lipsticks are only £1 each! £1 each! They are so cheap and have a really good quality and content. Also, at the bottom of the lipstick you can screw off the bottom to have a pot of the lipstick if you wanted to apply with a brush which i think is a really good idea and you really get what you pay for!

The last lip colour i like is from Revlon and it is a Revlon ColourBurst Matte Stain. Zoella mentioned these in one of her videos a few years ago and ever since i have always bought them as they ave so much content and the colours are really nice. The shade which i got was Complex 230. This is a really matt and nude shade and is really nice to use for school or college or if you want to have a light and nude make-up look. This matte balm was £7.99 and i bought it from Boots. I don't only wear this in autumn/winter i wear it on a daily basis if i am being completely honest. I mainly use this for school as i think it has a discreet look and effect and so is perfect for school as it is minimal.

That is the end to this blog post, i hope you liked it,

Please look at Elise's previous post as it is really touching: http://perksofbeingtiaelisexo.blogspot.co.uk/2015/11/our-world.html

Our World.

How do I even begin to collect my thoughts and throw them on to the page.
I don't even how to write a post right now explaining all my thoughts and feelings without writing pages or breaking down half way through.
Friday the 13th of November 2015. A tragic day across the world for everyone.
I won't go into detail about what happened, it everywhere, if you haven't already heard then I suggest you look it up.
Lebanon, around 43 killed in two suicide bombings. Baghdad, 26 killed and 43 injured in a suicide bombing. Germany, eight bodies found in a house. Japan, a high magnitude earthquake with tsunami warnings. Turkey, more suicide bombs and killings, over the last few months there had been over 120 deaths. The ever growing race problem in Mizzou.
I'm not trying to take away what happened in Turkey and Lebanon, and I'm not ignoring it. It happens all the time and it's terrible. There is less media coverage because it happens in less developed countries than France. People forget that killings and bombings still happen in Iraq, Syria etc. I'm going to be honest and say even I'm not fully educated on what's happening in these places, and I'm determined to learn more about the issues that people in these countries face everyday
However what really hit everyone was Paris. Supposedly because it's such a developed country, and what happened was such a shock.
160+ dead, co - ordinated attacks, bombs set off outside a stadium, people shot in a bar, and 100 people taken hostage in a concert, slaughtered one by one until the police were forced to intervene. There was more, look it up.
Now I'm not some amazing writer who can compose her political and economical thoughts into one post. I can't change the world. I can't stop what's happening. And hey, you might think what I'm saying is completely wrong. You might think I've approached the subject in the wrong way or shared what I want to say in the wrong way. There are thousands of more amazing people out there that can write intellectual, more detailed posts on this. But here it goes.
I could explain how terrible this is, how much I feel for all the families involved. I do. It breaks my heart to know that these people won't be able to do the little things in life like make a cup of tea or listen the the birds tweeting. They won't get to go christmas shopping or see the new year in. They won't get to watch their children grow up or start a family of their own. And their families will never get to tell them just how much they love them.
We know who was behind this, they've already taken responsibility. I suppose they've got what they wanted, fear. Nearly everyone I've spoke to or tweeted are scared. They want everyone's boarders closed, and they don't wanna go outside anymore. That's what ISIS did.
Then we get the Islamophobia. As soon as they accepted responsibility it started. You know I saw this tweet on my twitter earlier, saying her seven year old daughter asked her of she had to tell everyone she wasn't Muslim anymore. I saw a post from a woman saying that she got ignored in stores today, and got looked down on by others, children asked their parents if she was a terrorist?
Muslims are not terrorists. I could sit here and go on for hours about how they aren't, look on twitter and you will see enough content.
ISIS are a extremist group. They are doing what they want and using religion to try and justify their actions. They are not Muslims. ISIS have killed over 100,000 muslims, they've blown up mosques, if they were Muslims why? The Qu'ran does not tell Muslims to kill, it even talks about how killing insects are wrong. Look it up before you say they must be doing it because of what Islam 'teaches' them. Have a look.
Now you want to sit there and blame Muslims for what this extremist group has done. When you don't blame Germans for Hitler, and you don't blame Christians for the KKK, but it's fine to blame Muslims for ISIS right?
You may be scared for you life, worried you are going to get killed. But there are hundreds of thousands of Muslims out there who are scared too. Subjected to prejudice and hate. Such as the Muslim woman that got pushed onto the train tracks because of her religion.
Now before you sit there, and blame Muslims who do not condone ISIS at all. I suggest you educate yourself, and think about the people you might be hurting by blaming them for something they didn't do.
And to Muslims. I'm sorry, I am so unbelievably sorry that you get blamed for something you haven't done. I'm so sorry that people can't open there eyes and use their brain more instead of putting you all into one camp.
To everyone involved in the other tragedys of Friday the 13th of November, I wish you all the best. I'm sorry I can't do anymore. All I can do is try and get people to listen, and think. I'm so sorry for everything, and I wish you the best.
I see humans, but not humanity.

October Favourites

Hello!

It's that time of the month again...FAVOURITES, I love writing and reading favourites posts, so if you know anyone that writes them everyone month and that are very good, I would love to hear about them!

TV and Film

Crime shows have been my guilty pleasure again this month, well actually I've always loved crime shows, they just excite me. Switched At Birth, won't say loads about it because you all know but yeah new eposides equals a very happy me. Peter Kaye and Lee Evans always make me laugh, so they've been a big favourite this month. I've literally watched hardly anything new though, I really need some recommendations!

Makeup and Skincare

I can tell this month's favourites is going to be terrible because once again I cannot think of anything. This month I've hardly been wearing any makeup, so I think that has to be my favourite, nothing. It has majorly improved my skin (until now, but that's due to school stress) it's felt good to just let my skin have some space. I've not been using many harsh products on my skin either, just good old toothpaste.

Music

(And books) as I've said before I don't have a certain type of music I listen too, anything that's on pleases me. Probably 2005-2011 songs have been my thing, cheesy songs but just all around great. Girl Online, okay I know the second one has come out now, and I've had this book for ages. I've read it loads of times before, but I hadn't read it for a while so I picked it up on the way to my grandparents house, and I read it that day, I love it (I'm actually going to do a full review on it, why not?)

Youtube
I've not really got many, just really what I've liked all the time. Joe, Tyler, Zoe, just the normal people. Shane Dawson is also my new favoruite, I've only just started watching him but I find him hilarious. My favoruite video though must be Colleen's Bohemian Rapsody video from her wedding, it's just gold!

Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoyed.

Lots of love,

Elise xo

What To Do When You're Sick

Hello!

Sorry I didn't post, was going to do my unboxing finally but I've got to collect all the stuff together. So I thought, why not do a post about 'what to do when you're ill' seeing as it's coming up to winter where basically EVERYONE gets sick!

1- Stay inside if you can
This is a pretty obvious one, but the amount of people I've seen with colds outside in the freezing air is unbelievable. If you are off school, or too ill to go then stay inside and rest. Wrap yourself up, get some hot chocolate and just watch Netflix.

2 - Do something you enjoy
If you're sick, you're more likely to feel sad/down. Do something you like, such as watching youtube, reading or writing. It won't make you physically better, but it will help your mental state.

3- Have a bath
Baths are amazing if you're sick! Light a candle, get your favourite bath treats, put on some music (or do what I do and prop your phone up so you can watch youtube). Taking a bath can really help you relax, and is especially good for headaches or stomach aches.

4- Eat healthy and drink plenty of water
Okay, I admit this is hard. When I'm ill all I want to do is eat chocolate and drink milkshake, which is okay in moderation. However, having the right diet will help your health increase, and drinking water will too!

There are loads of other things you can do as well, it's whatever you feel will help you the most, staying healthy is extremely important.

Thank you for reading, my next post will defiently be the unboxing, promise!

Love,

Elise xo

September Favourites

Hello!

hey, hello, hi it's me again. I am back, actually we are back to posting again. We've been so stressed and busy that posting here hasn't been our main prority. We did discuss stopping the blog, but we decided against it and are going to try to get back to posting regularly!

anyway today I'm going to do a September favorites, because I am a sucker for a good old favourites post.

TV and Film

This month I have been loving Switched At Birth, and if you follow me on twitter (which you should) you will know how much I am OBSESSED with the show. No word of a lie I watched the whole four eposides in three days. I just think it's amazing, I've never seen a show deal with the things it has dealt with, and deafness in the way of which the show has, so I recommend watching it.
Film wise I haven't really watched anything new, but I did rewatch all of the Twilight movies last week (lame I know) just because I love them, to be specific I love Robert Pattinson.

Makeup and Skincare

I don't really have many favourites as I don't have the money to buy new products at the moment. However I have been recently loving the NYC skyline mascara, I won it in a giveaway (first impressions coming soon!) and I just think it's amazing! I'm also still in love with my Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer and the Translucent Powder, as they are just amazing quality products that give such an impact in a matter of few seconds. The Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish will always be one of my favourites, it removes makeup so quickly and easily without being too harsh on the skin, and the Witch Hazel Moisturiser is also one of my holy grail products as it just makes me so soft and lovely and ah.

Music

I basically listen to the same music all the time which is just whatever is in my suggested videos. However I have been loving soundtracks this month, a little bit of Mamma Mia and Grease will never do you wrong. Mumford and Sons have also been my go to songs this month, but TROYE SIVAN. God bless him, the little nugget has brought out the most amazing album of which I am so proud of him, fools is defiently my favourite song, so if you haven't listened to it, you need to!

Youtube and Blogs

This month I've been watching basically the same youtubers. However there are a few new which I love. Alice, is an amazing youtuber, I love her videos and she is also such a nice person. Gaby is also another amazing small youtuber who is just the funniest of people. Another favourite this month has been Sol, who is just extremely relatable and amazing. Libby Jade is also amazing, her videos are so cute and just lovely. Isabelle is also an amazing little youtuber who's videos are amazing, she is just so funny and nice, she's also such a lovely person, so I recommend you check her out. I have also recently started reading Owen Frosties blog, which I think is excellent, I follow him on twitter and he seems so nice and funny, so he is worth a search. Tyler Oakley is decent too, very good and I think more people should watch him (all links at the end)

That's it! Everything I have been loving in September, and it's been a pretty good month. Other than general school drama and stuff nothing too drastic has happened which is just splendid. I really hope you enjoyed, and see you soon!

Lots of love,

Elise xo

Unboxing/first opinions

Hello!

Today I'm going to do a unboxing/first impressions, as I recently won a giveaway run by an amazing youtuber called Taonga. Her videos are of such a high quality, they always get me hooked straight away. She is also just a generally lovely lady who radiates happiness (I will include her links at the end)

She sent me this lovely bag full of goodies. The bag is literally a perfect size, and will go with most outfits which is amazing! She also sent me a little pink bag, perfect to store my makeup in.

First, I got a The Body Shop Cool BB sample (glowing), Body Shop Nutriganics Smoothing Day Cream Sample, and the Nutriganics Drops Of Youth Sample. They all look brilliant, however I haven't used them yet, I'm saving them for a special occasion. Taonga also sent me two Body Shop little body lotions, which literally smelt to die for.

I got sent a Pilaten Blackhead Pore Strip, and I swear to god that thing was amazing! I am going to have to buy more because it literally worked wonders. The Kmart Coconut Water Face Mask is also amazing, I've used it once and I've still got some left but it made my skin feel so soft.

Taonga also sent me the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, Kleancolor Tanned Rawr Matte Bronzer, an eyebrow kit and a pencil, a very very pretty eyeshadow (they are at my grandmothers house so I cannot tell you the names), a Skyrise NYC Lengthening Mascara, an Elf Essential All Over Cover Stick and two sets of eyelashes.

They literally create the most perfect makeup look, they have become my staple products. The quatility and last of all of them are amazing, and I'm in love with all of them. I'm saving the eyelashes for a party or something (not that I ever go to parties) but out of everything I think the Elf Stick has to be my favourite, it's so multi-functional and just absolutely gorgeous.

Taonga also sent me a body wash, which was Raspberry and Vanilla, and it smells lovely, like that is all I am using right now. She also sent me a chocolate bar, I cannot remember what I was because my family (yes, I hardly got any) ate it basically as soon as we got it. I didn't think I would like it, but it was actually so addictive. As well as some Lovisa Green Jewel Earrings, which are so gorgeous but have some how been stolen by my sister because she loves them.

I am extremely grateful for everything Taonga sent me because everything is wonderful. Her channel as I've mentioned it amazing, so I'd love if you checked her out.

I really hope you enjoyed my little review, I actually really enjoy writing about products! See you soon with a new post!

Lots of love,

Elise xo

My Desk/Vanity Tour

Hello everyone, firstly, I would like to make a quick apology for not uploading on time. I made a draft of this post and forgot about it, sorry. Anyway, today i thought that i would share with you a kind of tour? A tour of my desk in my room. So yesterday, i moved my room around and so re-organised my desk and i really like how it has turned out and so i thought that i would share it with you! I hope you enjoy and yeah, i'll just get on into the post!!

The Desk:

So my desk is white and i do believe it is from Argos. I am not sure how much it was but i think it was around £90. I am not a big fan of the desk as i think it sticks out quite a lot despite moving it around so many times in my room, but, i am soon buying a new one :) However, what i do love about it is that it has a lot of storage.
Underneath the desk to the left is like a mini bookshelf. It has 3 shelves which is really helpful. I store some of my favourite magazines on there and my favourite books and also my school work as well.

On Top:

So, i am so fussy about how the top of my desk looks. I am constantly changing how things are laid out on there and completely changing what is on there. But, i have finally decided on a layout that i like.

To the left of my desk i have a white skurar pot from Ikea and in there i store some of my favourite Lush bath bombs. I think this gives quite a lot of colour to my desk as my bath bombs are a variety of colours and it looks very neat and i just really like how it looks. Then kind of below that i usually would have my Alexa Chung 'It' book with my phone on top of it or my writing pad, but in this case it was my book. I have fallen in love with Alexa's book 'It'. I love the cover, the fact that it is so photogenic and the book in general! It also fits with the theme of my room and i just love it so much. Then as i said, i would usually have my phone on top of that, if you were wondering i have the iPhone 5s in silver with a clear case with a pastel pink border which was from Amazon for £1.99. Moving on to the right of my desk, I kept one of my starbucks cup (obviously i cleaned it) and i just keep my Bic Black Biro's in there, i just think it looks really nice and kind of tumblr?? Then beside that i have my all time favourite Yankee Candle; Pink Sands. I just love this scent, i would go into detail but this post would go on forever!! Then, next to my candle is my Eiffel Tower lamp which is from the Range. This lamp is massive but i love it so much. It is so cool and unique, the lamp frame itself is the Eiffel Tower and then on top is the lamp shade of course. I do believe this was quite expensive i think it was around £15-£20 but it is so nice and big and perfect for any room to be honest. Last of all, in the centre of my desk i just keep my Macbook and Macbook Mouse. I have a Macbook Pro 13 inch with Retina Display, for those of you wondering and i just keep it on my desk as i do most of my editing and homework on my macbook and like to do it at my desk, as that is what desks are made for right?

Above My Desk:

Above my desk, i have one picture in a picture frame along with a browny canvas, which are both related to Paris. They are both on different levels as i thought it looked quite effective and i really liked it but I'm not sure on whether to take down the one of the left.
The picture on the right i received as a gift from my birthday from my mum's aunt and so i am grateful for that, thank you. And the other canvas i also got my birthday from my nan and grandad, so thank you as well.

Disclaimer:

I don't want you to feel like I'm bragging about having this stuff as really i don't intend to as I'm not that type of person! I've either bought these things with my own money or i have received them asa gift for my birthday this year.

Thankyou for reading this post, i hope you enjoyed it!
Again, sorry about forgetting to press publish yesterday when drafting this post,

Lots of Love

Urban Fudge Conditioner Review

Hello!
Sorry I didn't post anything last week, and that this week's post will be short. I just haven't been in the mood to write anything recently, for a number of reasons that I won't go into. However I didn't want to not post for two weeks, and let down anyone that reads this *if anyone does*, so I thought I'd do a review!

About two weeks ago, Superdrug sent my mother a gift box for being a loyal customer and I stole it. There was some other summery bits in the box, but I've been using this one the most, so I thought I'd give you my judgement.

On the back of the tube it says 'This lightweight yet concentrated lotion with Argan Oil assists in hydrating and nourishing the hair, to smooth frizz, and seal dry ends'. The instructions are 'Apply a small amount and blow dry into damp hair, apply to dry hair to defrizz and seal ends, or use post straightening to leave hair smooth with a natural shine.'

The actual product name is 'Iced Tropical Cocktail Miracle Ends Smooth Condition and Seal'. This product is amazing, it smells delicious, and I'm literally obsessed with it.

It works so well to make my hair straight and soft, and to seal dry the ends. Due to my hair type being funny, I have to use a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner or my hair just dies. This is helping so much to add that extra bit of shine and strength that you get when using a separate shampoo and conditioner.

Out of ten, personally I would give it an eight, simply because I haven't been using it long enough to see if it has any long time effects on my hair, however I do really recommend this product.

Thank you for reading, and hopefully next week I will feel more up to writing posts!

Elise's June Favourites♡

Hello!

You're kidding right? We are at the end of June already, it literally feels like yesterday that I was writing my May favourites, crazy how time moves so fast!

TV, Films and Books-

I've recently started reading American Sniper, and although I'm not far into the book (as I've had other things to do) I absolutely love it, and I can't wait to finish it as I've heard some amazing things about it. I haven't been watching many films this month, however I have watched Blended a few times, which will always be one of my favourites, I just love Bella Thorne's character! I also haven't been watching much TV, however if you follow me on twitter you will know that I'm really into Long Lost Family, it just makes me so emotional, I can't help but cry both happy and sad tears, just the feels okay. Judge Geordie has also been another personal favourite, I LOVE Vicky Pattinson, one of my favourite people, she's so real and tells it as it is, respect for her.

Makeup and Skincare-

I haven't bought many products this month because I've had like no money, however I have been loving the Revolution pink lip gloss, it's a really subtle colour but just looks so amazing and effective. The next thing sounds really strange, but it's and anti - wrinkle creme. Okay I know I'm only 14, but it just feels so amazing on my skin, and smells so nice that I just use it everyday. ZOELLA BEAUTY, literally, when I get some money I'm straight to Superdrug to get myself some new products. Soak Opera will probably always be my favourite product so I'm going to have to repurchase that, however Kissy Missy and the new Fizz Bar are top of my list!

Clothes-

Once again, I haven't really had any new clothes favourites for this month. I did buy this really nice red and white stripey baggy top from Primark which I have been wearing everywhere, other than that just the normal clothes I wear.

Music-

Recently I've been listening to a lot of soundtracks from films and musicals, I haven't really had favourite songs from artists for some reason. I just like listening to the Grease soundtrack, and Dirty Dancing, strange yes, but I just love it!

Youtube-

This is literally always the one I write the most on. I've had LOADS of favourites. I've just started watching LimitlessEXP and oh my god he is hilarious, the channel is amazing, and I literally can't stop watching his videos. Taonga Thompson - Lawrence has been another MASISVE favourite this month, and I actually won her giveaway! When the package gets here I will do a sort of unboxing/first impressions sort of post. FouseyTube has been another personal favourite, I've just loved watching social experiments and I just find his channel so amazing, and creative. PrincessENoodle will always be one of my top youtubers, I just love the girl so much! Her channel is so amazing, well organised and perfectly edited, she's just had her hair done and it looks amazing, I'm so jealous. Isabelle Collins has been another favourite, she has such an amazing and inspiring channel, and she tweets the BEST things, so go look her up. JoshJoshBeauty is also on my list this month, his makeup looks are FLAWLESS, and I mean his channel is so amazing, please go have a look! For bigger youtubers I've been obsessed with Hannah Hart, Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart. I don't know why but I've just fallen in love, and find their videos so funny, when they are together I have to literally hold back the tears of laughter, best channels out their right now!

Anyway, thank you for reading my June favourites, and I really hope you enjoyed! If you like any of the things I've mentioned, or if you are going to try anything, just let us know!

Happiness☆

Hey!

I thought I'd do an extra little post for you today (it's Elise by the way) because I'm sick *boohoo* and have a lot of spare time on my hands.

I want to talk about one thing that makes me happy.

In a world full of depression, lack of confidence and overall down times, there is happiness. Although you may have to look a little harder, and think a little deeper. The smallest things in life can give you the happiness which you need to carry on going. It could be anything, drinking a cup of tea, or watching a movie, that tiny bit of happiness to get from that, it makes a whole lot of differnece. And you can share happiness with others, smiling at someone when you walk down the street. Or offering to help someone with their shopping. That could change someone's life, it could save a life.
'Give someone a smile, it could be the only ray of sunshine they see all day'

I want to talk about one thing that makes me happy, and in general that is Youtube. I've been a fan for years now, and I'm found some amazing channels along the way. Such as ThatcherJoe, FouseyTube, Tanya Burr, Troye Sivan, just to name a few. I've found big channels, as well as small, and I'm so glad that I did.

People talk about finding channels that post amazing content, channels which are dedicated to their subscribers, and interact with them at every opportunity. You may not agree, or say that the majority of the time this doesn't happen. However it does, and their are amazing small channels out their that deserve much more credit, and support for what they do. I'm not saying bigger channels don't deserve it, because by god I've fell in love with some of the amazing people I watch, I'm saying smaller channels are just as good, and because someone hasn't pressed a button, or their channel hasn't been found. Doesn't mean they are any less than others.

So I want to talk about my favourite channel. Okay, this will probably sound extremely soppy and mega cringey, but I want to thank the channel.

About five months ago, I started watching a channel called ' The Lifestylists', two sisters, Amanda and Nicole. I fell in love with the channel. These two girls, they may live far away, and I may never meet them. But both Amanda and Nicole have made me extremely happy. Every video has been of such high quality, and generally so amazing. They recently decided they wanted a change, so they transferred to a new channel called 'Coco and Margot' and if you watch the last video on their old channel, you can see their reasons why. Both of them, have been the most amazing and supportive people ever. They are constantly active with their subscribers, and make every single one feel special. The girls deserve so many more subscribers, because they are genuinely the nicest people I have ever spoken too. I will continue supporting them for as long as possible.
You can find them;
Youtube- https://youtu.be/DMdBSyR5kZI
Twitter- @cocoandmargot
Instagram- @amanda_margot and @_nicole_emily

In their channel I find my happiness. Re - watching their videos everytime I'm down, or feeling not too good about myself or the world, just makes me feel so much better. I recommend, highly, please go watch them, share my happiness.
'Life is not about making other people happy. It's about sharing your happiness with others'

No matter what you find happiness in doing, whether others like it or not. Please don't stop fighting for self happiness, or even happiness in the world. As I've said, the smallest thing can make you happy. Often people don't stop to enjoy the little things in life, like a good movie or a lovely day, happiness comes in all shapes and sizes.

And today, I wish you are happy♡

Lots of love,

Elise xo

5 Product Face

Hello everyone,
Today i thought that i would post more of a relaxed an easy post. So not all the time we want to smother our faces in make-up, some days we just want a neutral look or a easy and basic look. So i thought that this post would be relevant! So, let's get straight into sharing with you my 5 product face!

Primer:
There is no doubt about it. If i am applying a BB Cream or Foundation i still have to apply a primer as it helps keeps my base in place for long lasting hours! So for my primer i would usually use the Baby Skin Primer however recently i have been using the Benefit Porefessional. This is not cakey or oily and perfect for my skin. This lasts for long hours and sets my make-up in place. The only down side is the price.

Base:
I am using the Maybelline BB Cream (The pink one). I have recently gone off giving my face a full coverage now as HALF OF MY SPOTS HAVE FINALLY STARTED DISAPPEARING! This is why I like to use a BB cream. This BB Cream gives a natural glow to your face and covers any blemishes or redness on the face.

Concealer:
Now, even though that the BB cream is amazing at covering blemishes and redness on the face, i still like to use a concealer for underneath my eyes as i have bad bags underneath my eyes. For concealer i use the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer as it gives a nice glow and is my everyday use.

Eyes:
I have only recently bought a Maybelline Color Tatto. I HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH IT! It is a good base, blendable and gives a nice shimmer to the eyes, and is perfect for summer.

Mascara:
After seeing the advert on the television, youtubers going on about this product and the pretty good price, I finally got around to buying the Maybelline Sensation Lash Mascara. This gives such a good volume to the lashes AND ISNT CLUMPY! You guys know what I'm like with Mascara's, if they are clumpy i will not use them, as harsh as it sounds.

Thankyou for reading this post and i hope you have enjoyed it.

QUICK UPDATE!

Hello everybody!

So we have made a few changes to our blog and have got some news to tell you about how to get in contact with us.

^^^First of all we have set up aa link on our blog that if you look to the right hand side of our ^^^ blog, you can enter your email to receive messages when we post. Now a few of you messaged Tia on twitter to do this and Elise asked me to look in to this as well actually, so there you go!

^^^ In addition at the bottom of each post there is this bar (shown in the photo). Now, in that bar ^^^ is a small icon of a letter with an arrow. If you click on this you can forward this post or page in to an email to forward it too another person or share it online. This is a quick and easy way to share our posts as i know a few of you wanted us to do this.

So, moving on to our contact details not sure whether all of you know but we no longer use our joint twitter account. This is due to finding it hard to post as well as using our personal and our individual fan accounts. At the end of every post, we always link our contact details down below and we did state our joint account twitter so we have now changed that to our individual fan accounts. If you have sent us a message or tweeted us on the joint account before we stated that we are not using the account then we would have most likely seen but from now on we will not see it as we don't use the account. So yeah.

Anyway, we have recently created an instagram account for our blog. Now, we are not sure whether we are going to post regularly or forget about the account however, we will try to keep it up to date and use it. Our theme is kinda a beige tumblr theme with a mix of our own photos and other people's photos that have been posted on tumblr. So linking to this, if a photo is not taken by us, then we shall state it. However, as tumblr users may know, it is difficult to figure out the owner of a photo as so many people post it on their accounts, so its hard to find the original. But, if we use a photo that we know the owner of we will certainly give them credit! So yeah! We have an instagram account! It is called @thebloggerlyf and please feel free to give us a follow for a chance of a follow back. To get our account started we will be accepting sfs and f4f however, it is just to get our account started.

So thank you for reading this quick post. We hope to see a few new followers to our account and we hope you have a lovely day.

3 High End Dupes

Hello,

So we all have one problem when it comes down to buying make-up. We want to buy the high end products, BUT THEY ARE SO EXPENSIVE! Well. I have found, in my opinion, some drugstore dupes of some high end products that are a lot cheaper and good quality.

Concealer:

High end ~ NARS Concealer £22
Drug Store ~ Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer £4.19

Now, as you can see the NARS concealer is extremely expensive however i believe that the Collection Lasting Perfection is a dupe to this product. The Collection product is long lasting, not cakey, cheap and is basically, has a lot of similarities to the NARS creamy concealer.

Lipstick:

High end ~ MAC Russian Red £15
Drug Store ~ Revlon Really Red Matte £7

Now don't get me wrong, MAC lipsticks are amazing and so so nice however for me, it is a let down about the price. Revlon lipsticks are so nice and the Revlon Really Red Matte Lipstick is equally as good. The texture most likely isn't the same however, the colour is extremely similar, it is much cheaper and the packaging is kind of similar.

Cream Eyeshadow's:

High End ~ MAC Eye Paint Pot's £15.50
Drug Store ~ Maybelline Color Tattoo £4.99

Now recently, everyone has been going on about the Maybelline Color Tattoo's and that they are so good and moisturising for the eyes and make a good primer for the eye as well as a nice base. Now, again MAC products are rather expensive and MAC's eye paint pot's are £15.50 and are identical to the Maybelline Color Tattoo's however are higher priced and most likely to be better quality however the Color Tattoo's are good quality, moisturing, make an excellent primer and base and are extremely cheap.

Standing Up For What You Believe In

Hello!
Once again I'm sorry I'm uploading late, I've been busy again! LIKE WHY SO MUCH HOMEWORK? I might change my upload day to Tuesdays from now on, simply because Tia uploads on a Friday, and seeing as we've ended joint posts for now, there is a massive gap between posts.
Today I've decided to do something different, not a beauty or fashion post. I wanted to talk about something a little deeper, and more meaningful.
I want to talk about standing up for what you believe in.
Now recently in the youtube fandom, there has been extreme amounts of hate, and situations of which have been very topical and difficult to discuss. In many cases have I seen some revolting comments and regards written about people on social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram.
Now, people may say it's no place for anyone to get involved, and that people are entitled to their own opinion which they are, of course. However so unacceptable things have been said, and you can't ignore it forever.
Okay so you may think standing up for a youtuber,or any big name for that matter is stupid. You may feel as though they never read the comments or tweets, or that they could deal with hate. But words hurt.
No matter what the situation, if you believe in something, then don’t let anyone put you down, or deem that it’s wrong. If you care strongly about a cause, or that what someone is doing is wrong. Stand up and speak out. If it’s for family/friends or some random person on the internet who has no clue you exist. Being a person who spreads positivity,or brings people together is amazing.
And to be honest I think words hurt the most. I like too see it like this; bullying comes in all forms- emotional, physical etc. Now with physical bullying, it hurts. Being punched, kicked it isn't nice, at all. However give it a week, perhaps a little longer and the pain is gone. Okay you might have a scar, you might have a small bruise, but the issue is temporary. Words, on the other hand, they don't leave a mark. You can't see how much they may have hurt someone, the pain is inside. And it doesn't leave, you can forget a small bruise. You can't forget what someone said.
So all I’m encouraging is never give up in what you belive in. Stand up for what you think is right, and do you're best to protect what you can. No matter what it is. There will be situations where, perhaps what you believe in isn’t right, or isn’t deemed acceptable by society. But people learn from their mistakes.
'Mistakes have the power to turn you into something better than you was before'

Two Make-Up Products I Regret Buying

Hello everybody it's Tia and today I thought I would share with you what products I have regretted buying either because of the quality or getting the total wrong impression! Now unfortunately not everything you buy is as good as people say and may not suit you as you had imagined or the way it suits other people. So! I am going to stop blabbing on and get to the point of this post.

Maybelline New York 'Great Lash' Mascara:
So the first product that I was ashamed about was the Maybelline New York 'Great' Lash Mascara. A couple of the youtubers I watch, recommended this mascara as it gave a good volume to your lashes however, it is so clumpy!! I can't stand clumpy mascaras as it makes you, in my opinion, look like you have 3 big lashes!! As well as it being clumpy I wasn't too keen on the applicator either, it was quite small meaning it didn't cover all of your lashes at once. Overall, I did not like this product and was quite disappointed as it was quite pricey I believe.

Clinique Superbalanced Powder Foundation:
Another product that I was not impressed by was one of Clinique's powder foundation. The one that I had bought, you had to twist to split the powder into chunks. I thought this was a unique idea and thought it would give an even coverage. No. I'm afraid this didn't work for me at all. When I had applied this it had a like shimmer to it and made me look like I had been in a fairy land and been sprinkled in glitter! I really didn't like this product and will not be purchasing it again, or even using it. Now this was very rare for me as I LOVE CLINIQUE! However I just was not keen on this product.

So I didn't want to make this post very long so I did cut it down to only two products however I still hoped you enjoyed reading this post and remember, that don't not buy the product because of my product. These were just my opinions and for example, the mascara you may love but I am extremely fussy and picky when it comes to mascara as I have said in a previous post.

Anyway! Hope you have enjoyed this post and make sure to read Elise's previous post!

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Review

Hello!
Sorry I'm uploading late, I've just been really busy, I hope you all understand!
Today I'm going to be talking a product I got given when I went to Beautycon London (which was amazing by the way) which is called Cleanse and Polish. The product is by a company called Liz Earle, who do LOADS of different skincare products. You can find them online at www.lizearle.com or in some Boots. I think they also have there own stores or pop up stands in places.
The Cleanse and Polish is a rich, concentrated cream that gently removes daily grime and make-up, even stubborn mascara, to leave skin clear, smooth and exceptionally clean. Used with the pure muslin cloth it lifts away dead skin cells, revealing radiant skin.
Basically all you do is massage the product into dry skin, over your eyes, face and neck to purify, soften and stimulate the circulation. You then use the pure muslin cloth, rinse it in hand hot water and wring out before gently polishing off the cream.
This has to be one of my favourite skin care products EVER. It's so amazing at removing all of my makeup in one go. I literally don't have to use anything after to take it off because it's all gone. The product leaves my skin unbelievably soft, and my skin is becoming clearer because it doesn't have any nasty grime left to get into my pores. For the price of the product it's amazing, and when I run out I will 100% be buying more.
I don't really have any negatives about the product, the packaging is really simple, cute and clean, and it's perfect for on the go because it takes really minimal effort. Sometimes, on days where my skin is more sensitive, I do find the pure muslin cloth can be a little rough on my skin. However, you don't have to use their cloth, and could use something different instead.
I would love to know if you've ever tried any Liz Earle products, and have any you really recommend. Or if you really want to try any!
You can contact us, we would love to hear from you-

Look out for Tia's post on Friday!

Summer OOTD

Hello everyone. Firstly, I would like to apologise for uploading late! I just completely forgot even though I told Elise what i was going to post! I'm so stupid. Anyway, today i am going to be doing a Summer OOTD 2015, so i hope you like it :)

Top - I am wearing a white top, with lace sleeves and a lace bottom (but i tucked it in). Unfortunately, i do not know where this from as my friend gave it too me as a birthday present, so I'm sorry about that.

Skirt - I am wearing a baby blue skater skirt which i believe is from Newlook for £9.99. I thought this was really cute and perfect for the hot weather!

Shoes - For shoes i wore a pair of white ballet pumps with a bow on the end. I find that these shoes are ideal for summer as i don't like wearing sandals or flip flops as i find they give me blisters on my toes? Don't know whether it's just me? I bought these from Newlook and these were also £9.99.

Jacket - In this photo i'm not actually wearing a jacket, however incase it does get chilly at one point of the day i will usually wear a kimono that is not to thick but not to thin, but one that is just right to give me some warmth if it does turn cold. The kimono that i wore with this outfit is again from Newlook and it is a white kimono with floral detailing on it. I know that is sounds like it would not match my top and skirt and it may look a little busy but actually, it matched them very well. I do not know what this kimono is called on the Newlook website but it was £11.99.

Thankyou for reading my blog post, I am so sorry it was late but as i said, i just completely forgot to upload it then yesterday (saturday) i went to an all day Music Festival which finished rather late so i did not get the time to upload. So sorry!

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Elise's Go To Makeup Products

Hello!
Today I thought I'd do a go-too look, because when it's like 7am or whatever, and you are running out the door, putting makeup on is such a stress. My post is going to be my top makeup products for a quick effective look, and a way to apply them fast but still look decent.
Too start off with I would apply a concealer. Normally if I had time I would use a foundation, however if you are in a rush, and concealer can give you a little bit of quick coverage. Personally at the moment I've been using the Rimmel Wake Me Up in the colour Ivory which I think is the lightest one? However I have heard amazing things about the Collection Lasting Concealer so I might try that next!
Okay so I would now chose a powder. Simply because it stops all the shine, and makes you quick makeup look much more effective. I use the Maybelline translucent pressed powder, which is really easy to apply. If you don't want to use powder, you can buy like shine pads, which are designed to wipe away the excess oil and keep your skin looking matte. Although I've never tried these, I've heard good things, so they are going in my list of products to buy!
Now I do like the look of bronzer (even though I can't do it) However if you are in a rus, applying bronzer, blusher and highlighter will take forever. Or not, you can buy all in one products like everywhere. So many places do them, although I don't have one for my self yet, I borrowed my mother's MUA one, and I thought it was amazing.
Next I'm going for a mascara, now you could do eyeliner, but unless you are a master, that will take forever! I could also say a eyeshadow, you could use quite a light shade and only do one colour. In a Revlon eyeshadow pallette I got, there is this really pretty pink that would be so cool to just pop on your eyelids. Back to mascara, it will make your eyes look so much bigger, and more defined. As well as make you probably seem as little more awake. If you're in a rush, I say skip the bottom lashes, because those are generally the hardest, and just go for one, maybe two coats on the top if you have time. My favourite is the Maybelline Rocket Volume Express (or something like that) which I find really good for length, volume and separation!
Brows may be another one, but I feel as though most people have alright eyebrows without filling them in, so going natural would be fine. However you may want to fill them in a little with a pencil, just to add more definition to your face. If you had more time this could be another step.
Finally I say lips. I wouldn't over do it with massive colours, I would stick to maybe a light lip gloss? You could also use the Maybelline Baby Lips, which they do in loads of different colours. Or a simple lip butter or care product like the Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula.

Thanks for reading. I really hoped you enjoyed the post! Obviously there are so many other things you could do, but I made this as short as possible. You could also skip parts out that you don't want to do, and that would make the look so much shorter.

Small Collective Haul

Hello everyone,

Today I am going to be sharing with you what i have bought through a period of time. This includes a couple of freebees (is that even a word?!) and a lot of items that i have bought from a variety of shops. So i'll stop doing a boring intro and get to the actual point of this post!

Primark:

So first of all I bought a white lace top with a black collar for £6. I thought this a good price for a high quality top especially as usually it would priced around £12!

Another thing I bought from Primark was a 3 way charger. So in our family car we can charge our phones however not all at once. However, in Primark they were selling a USB charger lead which has 3 different ends (An iPhone 4 charger, iPhone 5 charger and Samsung charger). I wanted to give it a try and for £2.50 i thought this was a BARGIN!

I also bought some plain black short's with a white bow. I was in need for just some plain shorts which i could wear to bed as recently i have found that it is rather hot at night! These shorts were £4 and i am happy that I bought them.

Whenever I go into Primark i always have to look at the homeware section. As my room has recently been decorated i needed a new throw for the end of my bed (I did have one but it was turquoise, so it didn't match my theme). After looking around for a while I found an extra large cream fluffy blanket with a cute lace-look-a-like detailing at the end of it. I instantly fell in love with it and threw it in my basket. This blanket was £6.

Tk Max:

So i only bought one thing from Tk Max and literally screamed in relief when i saw them. So for aggeessss i have been trying to find the 'Yes To' facial wipes. All the youtubers i watch had been using them and recommending them however never stated where they got them from! I searched everywhere for them and finally found them! I got the 'Yes To Grapefruit Facial Wipes' for £2.99 and I hope they will be as good as they look! (If you want a review on them, then comment down below!)

Waterstones:

It is very rare that I go in Waterstones as i think that it is very overpriced in there. However for ages now i have been debating whether to buy Connor Franta's book or not. I turned it down so many times however then couldn't resist and i bought it! I bought this book from Waterstones for £9.99 and i love the cover so much!

Superdrug:

Ok guys! I love Superdrug! And let's just say i bought a lot of things! But actually not as much as what i usually do. So as this is going to take forever to type, I'm gonna shut up and tell you what i got . . .

First of all i got the MUA White Nail Varnish as i really needed a new white matte finish nail polish as my Barry M one ran out and i wasn't too keen on it if i'm being perfectly honest. Also this was £1!

I then bought another MUA product (I bought a lot of MUA) I got the MUA blush in Bon Bon. It is such a light but not bright pink which gives such a small tint to your cheeks that really makes it effective. Also for £1 i thought this was amazing.

I was in need for some new lipsticks and so i bought two new MUA lipsticks. I've never had MUA lipsticks before however their colours are amazing. I got a lighter colour in Bare 14 and a darker shade in Shade 7. Out of the two i like Shade 7 the most, I use it almost every day and it gives such a nice look. Also, the packaging was amazing and these products were £1 each!

I have a lot of eyeshadow palette's and still, i bought another set of eyeshadows! However, not a palette! I got a trio set of MUA's eyeshadows in Pink Sorbet. I'm not sure whether these shades will suit me however i wanted to give them a try and this was £3.

So I am very much a skincare girl. I also do skincare every morning and evening. I needed a new toner first of all, so i got the Garnier Refreshing Toner (The Blue One) for £2.10 and I also needed a new Cleansing Lotion and so bought the Garnier Softening Cleansing Lotion for £2.10 as well. I love Garnier products and could buy all of their products and not complain about any of them as they are so good!

Benefit Freebees:

So we all love freebees right? I mean it's even better when it's Benefit freebees! So i got a free mini Roller Lash from the Elle Magazine a while ago and completely forgot about it and only recently found it in my make-up collection. I won't go into depth about this as my last post was a review on it so go and check that out!

I also got a free mini Pore-Fessional Primer. I really wanted to buy this however my friend bought one of the Benefit mini travel pack (something like that) and she gave me the mini primer as apparently she has loads of that primer and doesnt like it that much. So thankyou for that! If you would like a review on that then comment down below!

BabyLiss Freebrees:

So my auntie is a hairdresser and got given a free hair comb, 6 pack of hair rollers and a hairbrush comb (i don't know what its called :') ) Being a hairdresser, she has many of these and so handed them to me as i like to take good care of my hair and take any advice my auntie gives me. I have had Babyliss products before and loved them and so can't wait to try these products out too!

Elise's May Favourites

Hello!
Today, seeing as we are nearly at the end of the month, it's time for a MAY FAVOURITES *WOOHOO LITTLE DANCE*
It's not like a certain type of favourites, it's everything from the month. I hope you enjoy!
TV, Films and Books:
Okay so let's start of with books, this month's favourite book is A Work In Progress by Connor Franta (this could be a favourite forever to be honest) It's an AMAZING book! It contains so many valuable life lessons and inspirational paragraphs which could make anyone feel better about themselves. It's written in such an engaging and intelligent way, and it just makes me smile.
My TV and film favourites are going to be put together, I have quite a few but not much to say about them. On TV I've been loving Stalker, Bones and Forever...all on Sky 1 and they are all crime shows. It sounds a little creepy that I love crime shows, but I just think they are amazing! My film favourites are everything to deal with Melissa Mccarthy, she is my favourite actress! Tammy has to be one of my favourite ever films, it's majorly funny and just so great. I also love all Lee Evans films and tv shows, he makes me laugh so much. I'VE JUST BEEN LAUGHING SO MUCH LATELY.
Makeup and Skincare:
So in my beauty favourites this month,, I have the Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude foundation, which I think is so good. I really recommend it! It's got quite a watery base, so a little really goes a long way. It doesn't feel cakey, and gives you really natural looking, glowing skin. I've also been using my Baby Lips Peach Kiss quite a bit recently, because even though it has a little bit of colour, it looks really natural and fresh. It also smells really good:)
For skincare, once again I'm going to mention my holy grail. My Witch Skincare products. I can't fault these, I swear down on these. This is the only company I've found which agrees with my skin! I just think the Witch Hazel just like my skin. I've also been loving the Simple Micellar Cleansing Water, which is so amazing for removing my makeup and keeping my skin really clean and fresh.
Clothes:
I basically where the same clothing all the time so I never really have anything new or any specific favourites. However, I've been loving my Mean Girls jumper and just simple leggings this month with my Nike trainers. I also actually bough a Taylor Swift top from Primark which says Shake It Off on it, and I really like it.
Music:
I listen to all kinds of music, but I've had some clear favourites this month! I've been loving James Bay, I think he's amazing, but I've also loved the 2000-2010 songs this month. I've been obsessed with See You Again (Fast and Furious 7) because it's such an amazing song. However, Mcfly/ McBusted will always be my overall favourite because I just love their music so much!
Youtube:
I could literally write pages about my youtube favourites this month, there has been so many amazing videos so it's going to be hard not to write loads. As per usual I've been loving Joe Sugg because he's just amazing, and Caspar, Oli and Will. However, this month I've been loving Hannah Hart, because she just makes me smile loads. Emily Canham and Jake Boys have been another favourite, and so has Noo. I've been LOVING Hannah Renee this month though, she has to be one of my all time favourite youtubers now. She's so amazing, and her videos are always of such high quality. I can't leave without talking about my favourite The Lifestylists, who have just transferred channels and are now called Coco and Margot. You should really go watch!
Amber Bianchi is another BIG favourite, literally I'm too obsessed with her. Like how is she so amazing! Everyone needs to go watch her♡
That's it for my May favourites! I obviously had loads more I could have written but I didn't want to make the post too long. I'm sorry my post was delayed, I've just been so busy.
We also didn't post on Monday, however Tia and I our discussing our best upload options and things right now so bare with us!
