Standing Up For What You Believe In

Hello!
Once again I'm sorry I'm uploading late, I've been busy again! LIKE WHY SO MUCH HOMEWORK? I might change my upload day to Tuesdays from now on, simply because Tia uploads on a Friday, and seeing as we've ended joint posts for now, there is a massive gap between posts.
Today I've decided to do something different, not a beauty or fashion post. I wanted to talk about something a little deeper, and more meaningful.
I want to talk about standing up for what you believe in.
Now recently in the youtube fandom, there has been extreme amounts of hate, and situations of which have been very topical and difficult to discuss. In many cases have I seen some revolting comments and regards written about people on social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram.
Now, people may say it's no place for anyone to get involved, and that people are entitled to their own opinion which they are, of course. However so unacceptable things have been said, and you can't ignore it forever.
Okay so you may think standing up for a youtuber,or any big name for that matter is stupid. You may feel as though they never read the comments or tweets, or that they could deal with hate. But words hurt.
No matter what the situation, if you believe in something, then don’t let anyone put you down, or deem that it’s wrong. If you care strongly about a cause, or that what someone is doing is wrong. Stand up and speak out. If it’s for family/friends or some random person on the internet who has no clue you exist. Being a person who spreads positivity,or brings people together is amazing.
And to be honest I think words hurt the most. I like too see it like this; bullying comes in all forms- emotional, physical etc. Now with physical bullying, it hurts. Being punched, kicked it isn't nice, at all. However give it a week, perhaps a little longer and the pain is gone. Okay you might have a scar, you might have a small bruise, but the issue is temporary. Words, on the other hand, they don't leave a mark. You can't see how much they may have hurt someone, the pain is inside. And it doesn't leave, you can forget a small bruise. You can't forget what someone said.
So all I’m encouraging is never give up in what you belive in. Stand up for what you think is right, and do you're best to protect what you can. No matter what it is. There will be situations where, perhaps what you believe in isn’t right, or isn’t deemed acceptable by society. But people learn from their mistakes.
